    2. Once a Customer places a bet they shall receive an acknowledgement which is confirmation of acceptance by GreatOdds.
    3. Several bets may be treated as being one when a Customer places multiple copies of the same bet. When this occurs, all bets will be voided apart from the first bet struck. Several bets that contain the same single selection may be treated as being one. When this occurs, all bets will be voided apart from the first bet struck. The use of a "banker" selection or selections to get around online limits is not permitted. GreatOdds reserves the right to void any bets when 1 single selection (“a banker”) is combined with other selections to circumvent GreatOdds's online betting limits. When this occurs, all bets will be voided apart from the first bet struck.

In this event outstanding bets not subject to refusal or being voided will be honoured. In addition, GreatOdds also reserves the right to bring legal action against a Customer and/or Customers where a regulatory authority finds that collusion has taken place.
    7. Where the integrity of a sports event and/or fixture may have been compromised GreatOdds reserves the right to void any bets (including Multiples) associated with that event. The staked amount for such events will be returned to the Customer’s account.
    8. It is a condition of GreatOdds' acceptance of bets from a Customer, and by offering to place a bet with GreatOdds, that the Customer represents that:
      • you, the Customer, are not prohibited from entering into the bet by any term of your contract of employment or any rule of a Sport Governing Body which applies to you
      • you, the Customer, are not aware of any circumstances which would make the placing of the bet a breach of a rule on betting applied by a Sport Governing Body; and
      • where the bet is placed on the outcome of a race, competition or other event or process or on the likelihood of anything occurring or not occurring you, the Customer, do not know the outcome of the event.
In the event of such representation by you, the Customer, proving to be false your stake will be forfeit and GreatOdds shall not be obliged to pay any winnings which might otherwise have been payable in respect of the bet.
    9. The minimum bet online is GHS 1 or a similar equivalent where a Customer chooses to maintain their account in a different currency.
    10. Customers are unable to cancel or change a bet once the bet has been placed and the acceptance confirmed.
    11. Multiple bets are accepted, however no such bet can be accepted where the result of one leg influences the outcome of another (see rules related to Related Bets).
    12. All prices are subject to variation and become fixed at the time a bet is placed. GreatOdds cannot be held responsible for any typing, human or palpable error which leads to any errors or omissions, including the announcing, publishing or marking of prices or results, other than those intended, or bets being accepted that contravene GreatOdds rules. In cases where a bet has been accepted at an incorrect price GreatOdds reserves the right to void the bet.
    13. GreatOdds reserves the right to void any bet where such bet has been placed in circumstances where it considers, at its sole discretion, that such an error has occurred.
    14. Notwithstanding the generality of paragraph above, GreatOdds is not responsible for the accuracy of odds, prices or other information displayed on third-party or affiliate websites and accepts no liability in the event of odds or other materials being displayed incorrectly or otherwise in error on such third-party websites.
    15. GreatOdds reserves the right to refuse or void any bet, including those bets placed as a result of miscarried and/or aborted games (in accordance with any specific games rules).
    16. GreatOdds reserves the right to suspend a Customer’s account and/or retain any monies (deposits and winnings) in a Customer’s account that it considers, at its sole discretion, to have been obtained as a result of (i) any error as described in Rule 2.14 above, (ii) any suspicion of fraudulent activity, or (iii) suspicion of any other activity of any nature deemed by GreatOdds to be in bad faith.
    17. Bets will be accepted up to the advertised start time. If a bet is inadvertently accepted which includes an event after its start time, GreatOdds reserves the right to void any affected bets unless specific odds are being offered In Play.
    18. Promotional text messages - All prices quoted in promotional text messages are correct at the time of sending. Prices may move upwards or downwards between the time of sending the message and the time of the event. The only price GreatOdds will accept will be the price offered at the time of placing the bet.
    19. A Customer is strictly forbidden from using any form of artificial intelligence including, without limitation, "robots". Any Customer that we believe to be operating automated software (“robots” or “Bots”) will have their account closed. GreatOdds's decision will be final in these cases.
    20. GreatOdds reserves the right to restrict Customer requested bets in part or reject completely. Accounts that persistently fail to acknowledge these limits (by attempting failed bets repeatedly) may be closed at our discretion.
  3. Quick Bet Mode

    1. Quick Bet Mode allows Customers to place a single bet automatically by clicking on the odds for a selection without the need to add the selection to the bet slip first.
    2. Customers are required to accept the Terms and Conditions of Use prior to placing a bet using the Quick Bet Mode.
    3. Once the Quick Bet Mode is turned on, clicking on a selection price will automatically place a single bet on that selection without any further confirmation steps being shown.
    4. Any error messages that relate to an unsuccessful bet placement in Quick Bet Mode will be displayed in the standard GreatOdds betslip. Such errors include but are not limited to:
      • Insufficient funds in a Customer’s account to place the bet
      • Markets or events closing or being suspended
      • Changes in price or handicap lines relating to the bet selection
      • Attempts to place a bet with a potential return greater than the relevant Maximum Payout limits
      • Attempts to circumvent any restrictions placed on a Customer’s account
    5. Bets placed in Quick Bet Mode remain subject to the same bet delays, validation and authentication checks as bets placed via any other method.
    6. Customers are not able to cancel or change a bet placed in Quick Bet Mode once a bet has been accepted.
    7. Customers can change the default stake value used in Quick Bet Mode at any time.

  4. Maximum Payout on bets on Sports and/or Games

    1. The maximum amount that can be won by one customer in one day's betting, regardless of stake, is GHS 1,000,000 or its equivalent in an accepted currency.
    2. The maximum amount that can be won by one customer on one game is the lesser of the sum set out in the rules of such individual game or GHS 500,000 or currency equivalent.

  5. Settlement Rules

    1. Bets are settled to Win unless Each Way is selected. An Each Way bet is a bet of twice the selected unit stake. It contains one bet of unit stake on the selection to Win and one bet of unit stake on the selection to Place according to the terms advertised for the event.
      For example: £10 Each Way on Tiger Woods to win the US Masters (£20 staked) Win Odds: 8/1, Place terms 1/4 odds a place 1,2,3,4.If Tiger wins, both Win and Place bets are winners;£10 @8/1 = £90 (including stake) plus £10 @ 2/1 (i.e. 8 x 1/4) = £30 Total Returns = £120.If Tiger finishes 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Total Returns =£30.
    2. Settlement will be based on the odds and Place terms applicable when the bet is accepted. GreatOdds reserves the right to alter the Place terms for Each Way betting before or during any event or market.
    3. For the purpose of calculation, Each Way Doubles, Trebles etc. are settled as two distinct bets, i.e. Win on to Win and Place onto Place.
    4. Place bets are not accepted unless an equal amount is invested to Win. Any Place stake inadvertently accepted in excess of the Win stake will be void. Place-only bets may be accepted on some Pari-Mutuel Markets and any markets specifically set-up to take such bets.
    5. In a Dead Heat the stake money on a selection is divided by the number of runners involved in the Dead Heat. The full odds are then paid to the divided stake, with the remainder of the money lost.
    6. Where a selection is made void, then for single bets the stake will be returned. Bets on selections that do not run for whatever reason may or may not be returned depending on the rules for the individual sport or event. In accumulative bets the stake will run on to the remaining selections with a Double becoming a Single, a Treble becoming a Double and so on.
    7. The official result is final for settlement purposes except where specific rules state the contrary. Subsequent changes in results, whether due to disciplinary hearings or otherwise are disregarded. Where in the reasonable judgement of GreatOdds no official result is available, the result will be: determined by an independent authority of GreatOdds's choosing whose verdict shall be final for all purposes, or otherwise determined in the reasonable opinion of GreatOdds with such opinion to be formed by reference to all reasonably available evidence.
    8. Bets will provisionally be settled by reference to all available evidence, but if the result which is determined as set out above differs from the result used for provisional settlement, settlement may be retrospectively adjusted to reflect the result so determined.
    9. Final settlement of bets will occur when GreatOdds considers that the result and settlement has been completed satisfactorily with reference to all available evidence.
    10. GreatOdds reserves the right to terminate (i) markets on specific sports and/or (ii) games, and in such circumstances, will notify affected Customers.
  6. Related Bets

    1. Multiple bets that combine different selections within the same event are not accepted where the outcome of one affect or is affected by the other.
For example, in a Football match involving Manchester United, two selections may be: Manchester United to win 2-0 and Manchester United's Wayne Rooney to be scorer of the first match goal. The bets are related as Wayne Rooney's goal-scoring performance would influence Manchester United winning the match 2-0. A double combining the above selections is not possible using their market prices. Special prices may be offered for the combined eventuality. When a special price is not available and such a bet is taken in error, it will be settled as two single bets with the stake equally divided.
    2. Multiple bets that combine selections that are resolved at different times but still within the same tournament. These bets will be settled as instructed with the price of the second or subsequent selection being determined at each individual stage.
For example, in a Tennis tournament two selections may be: Roger Federer to win the semi-final of Wimbledon and Roger Federer to win the Wimbledon tournament outright. As the odds of the second selection depends on the outcome of the first, the odds of Roger Federer winning the tournament at the time the bet was accepted cannot be used to calculate the double odds. The correct odds after the initial selection is completed will be attributed instead.
    3. Multiple bets that combine selections within different events where the outcome of one affect or is affected by the other.
For example, two Horse Racing selections may be: Septimus to win the Dante Stakes and Septimus to win the Epsom Derby.
As the odds of Septimus to win the Epsom Derby depends on whether he wins the Dante Stakes (a recognised Derby trial), the odds for Septimus to win the Epsom Derby at the time the bet was accepted cannot be used to calculate the double odds. A special price to win both races may be quoted instead.
    4. In the case of all multiples including selections with related outcomes, if a bet is taken inadvertently GreatOdds reserves the right to void part of or the whole of the bet.
  7. Dead Heat Rules

A Dead Heat occurs where two or more participants in an event tie for first and second place. In the event of two selections having a Dead Heat, the Customer's stake is split with half the stake applied to the winning selection and the other half lost. With more than two selections, the stake is split proportionately.

  8. Ante Post Bets

Ante post bets are those placed at prices on named selections taking part in an event before it has started. Bets are accepted 'all in, run or not, entered or not', which means that should your selection fail to take part in an event, the bet is a loser unless our rules for an individual sport specifically state otherwise. In all cases we reserve the right to impose a Rule 4 to reflect returning stakes on selections that do not take part.

  9. Price Fluctuations

All prices are subject to fluctuation at all times and without notice.

  10. Time of Acceptance

All bets selected with pre-match prices taken from GreatOdds will be accepted up until the start time displayed on the website. If a bet is accepted which includes a match that has already started and we are not offering prices In Play, that selection will be void. If we are offering prices In Play on the match, the selection will accepted at the current price quoted.

  11. In Play

    1. GreatOdds makes every attempt to establish a fair assessment of events that transpire during an In Play match on a good faith basis with reference to the TV broadcaster's coverage.
    2. Situations may arise where it is not possible to categorically state what has happened. In the event that a matter requires closer examination, or the TV broadcaster's coverage is interrupted or fails to start on time for whatever reason, or there is a technical failure in the trading facilities available to GreatOdds's traders, we reserve the right to withhold settlement pending further investigation or to void bets. If there is no further activity in an event following the acceptance of an In Play bet, these bets will be made void, unless specific sports rules state otherwise. If it transpires that the TV broadcaster misses one or more events during a match or we settle a bet incorrectly, we reserve the right to make both positive and negative retrospective adjustments to accounts. We rely on the decisions of the officials acting during the course of the game, match or tournament and these decisions shall be final regardless of whether they are subsequently overturned by appeal or otherwise.
    3. All scoring information and streaming of Data Providers on the site is for display purposes only and is not used as a basis for settlement. GreatOdds accepts no responsibility for the correctness and timeliness of this information and only settles bets according to the official scores, actions and timings of the event.
  12. Cash Out

    1. Cash Out allows a Customer to take a return on their bet before the market(s) for their chosen selection(s) closes. This allows a Customer to take a profit if their selection is doing well or minimise any potential loss should they think the bet is unlikely to result in a win (“Cash Out”).
    2. Cash Out is available for open bets on certain market types. Customer’s open bets which are eligible for Cash Out are shown in the My Bets area on the Bet Slip on the website and the My Bets link in the header navigation on mobile (“Cash Out Offer”).
    3. A Cash Out Offer may be subject to a time delay in the same way as in-play bet placement may also be subject to a time delay. Price changes or market suspensions during this time may result in a new Cash Out Offer being made, or in the suspension or removal of the previous Cash Out Offer.
    4. The displayed Cash Out Offer amounts are not guaranteed. Cash Out requests may be unsuccessful if, during the acceptance process, the market has been suspended or the odds used to calculate the Cash Out Offer amount have changed.
    5. Subject to acceptance by GreatOdds, a Customer can Cash Out their bet at the amount offered in the My Bets area on the Bet Slip on the website and the My Bets link in the header navigation on mobile. The Cash Out Offer considers the overall liability of the bet and the probability of the bet being successful.
    6. ”Successful Cash Out” is where a Customer chooses to Cash Out and GreatOdds accepts that request at the price of the offer. Where there has been Successful Cash Out the bet is deemed settled and final. Then any funds returned to the Customer’s account will be equal to the Cash Out Offer and are in full and final settlement of the bets in question.
    7. The final result relating to your bet will have no impact on the amount returned to your account.
    8. Bets should not be placed with the sole intention to Cash Out, as availability is never guaranteed.
    9. A Cash Out Offer is subject to maximum payout limits (see section 8 for details).
    10. GreatOdds reserves the right to amend, suspend or remove Cash Out availability at any time on any market or to any Customer.
    11. GreatOdds will not be liable for any errors in respect of the Cash Out Offer and, in such case, GreatOdds reserves the right to cancel the Cash Out Offer or void the Cashed-Out transaction.
    12. Bets that qualify for bonuses which are subject to Successful Cash Out will not count towards bonus turnover.
    13. Bets placed with a free bet voucher as part or full payment will not be eligible for Cash Out.
    14. Tax, where applicable in the jurisdiction, will be deducted by GreatOdds from the Cash Out sum.
  13. Bet Builder

    1. Bet Builder is only available on Soccer matches, and customers can only place bets on this before Kick Off. Bet Builder is not available In-Play.
    2. Bet Builder is not eligible for Cash Out.
    3. Bet Builder cannot be combined with other Bet Builder or other Multi or System betting opportunities and will be placed as a single only.
    4. A minimum of two picks and a maximum of 8 picks from a single match can be included in a Bet Builder bet.
    5. If a pick within a Bet Builder is cancelled, then the entire Bet Builder will be cancelled. For example, if your Goalscorer pick does not take part in the game the entire bet will be cancelled, regardless of the outcome of the other selections.
    6. GreatOdds will not be responsible if the Bet Builder feature is not available for technical reasons.
    7. GreatOdds reserves the right to reverse the settlement of a Bet Builder if any of the picks have been settled incorrectly.
    8. GreatOdds reserves the right to reverse settlement or cancel any open Bet Builder at any time.
    9. GreatOdds reserves the right to remove the Bet Builder feature for any customer or group of customers where it has reasonable grounds to believe that the customer or group of customers is misusing the feature.
    10. The maximum stake that can be placed on a Bet Builder is 1,000 EUR, or the current equivalent in other currencies.
    11. The maximum payout for a Bet Builder bet is 10,000 EUR Net Winnings.
    12. General Betting Rules

    13. All markets will be settled based on official results supplied by OPTA.
    14. Bet Builder bets placed on Football apply to 90 minutes plus injury time, unless it is explicitly stated that the bet applies to Extra-time and Penalties. Match officials determine whether the full 90 minutes and injury time has been played.
    15. If any individual selection is void, or a player in the bet does not take any part in the match, then the whole bet will be made void.
    16. For any obvious pricing errors, we reserve the right to cancel any bets placed at that wrong price.
    17. If a match is abandoned, any bets where the outcome has already been decided e.g. half-time result or first team to score will stand. All other bets will be made void regardless of the score-line at the time of abandonment. Abandoned games will be deemed to be games which do not reach their natural conclusion by midnight local time. Games, where a referee removes the players from the field of play for a temporary period, but resumes the remaining minutes of play by midnight local time, will not be deemed as abandoned.

Winning bets must select whether or not there will be one or more goals, corners, free kicks, throw ins, goal kicks, penalty awarded/missed/scored in a listed time band. Winning bets can also select the winner of the match bet for the minute bands below, home team, away team or draw.

    Time Band Minutes

If a match is abandoned during any of these time bands, all bets placed will be void, unless the bet has already been settled.

In the event of any dispute on any market, settlement will refer to the official websites of the league or competition or relevant football authority for the match or competition in question for goals. In the case of this data not being publicly available or published for goals and for all cases of corners, free kicks, throw ins, goal kicks, penalty awarded/missed/scored, settlement will be made on data from the official website of the competition or if unavailable data transmitted by our Data Providers. First to Happen – Minute Band

Winning bets must predict which action will happen first, in the 5 minute band specified on the selection. (e.g. 20:00 – 24:59). The action is deemed to have happened when it is committed and not when it is taken. So for example, if a throw in is awarded at 19:57 and is taken at 20:09, and it is followed by a Goal Kick that is awarded at 20:53, the Goal Kick would be the winning selection for the Minute bands 20:00 – 24:59.

The action is deemed to have happened when it is committed and not when it is taken. For each selection available this would mean as explained below:

    • Throw In – The time of throw in is when the ball crosses the line and leaves the pitch.
    • Free Kick – The time of free kick is when the foul is committed and the player goes down.
    • Goal Kick – The time of goal kick is when the ball crosses the line and leaves the pitch.
    • Corner Kick - The time of corner kick is when the ball crosses the line and leaves the pitch.
    • Penalty Awarded – The time of penalty awarded is when the player is brought down in the box. If the penalty is awarded after a V.A.R. review then the time of penalty is still when the player is brought down.

    VAR / Video Assistant Referee

VAR Reviews: Bets are settled on regular play only. If a referee changes a decision after consulting with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), then this decision will be deemed a VAR Review and bets settled accordingly, a VAR Check takes place in the background and is not made by the referee.

All bets will be settled on VAR Review only and not VAR Checks. Example: The referee makes a signal that a VAR Review is underway by making a TV signal with his hands, this indicates that a VAR Review will take place and the referee will review the incident. Any subsequent decision made by the referee following the VAR review will count for betting purposes. VAR Checks do not count.

If a match is abandoned, any bets where the outcome has already been decided will stand, all other bets will be void.

  28. Futsal

    Bet Settlement

All bets on Futsal matches are based on the score at the end of 40 Minutes' Play unless otherwise stated or the bet has already been settled. Extra Time and Penalty Shootouts do not count.

    Abandoned Matches

All bets will be void on matches that are abandoned before the completion of 40 Minutes' Play unless otherwise stated or the bet has already been settled.

    Postponed/Rearranged Matches

All bets on matches that are postponed, rearranged or moved to a different venue will be void.

    Match Prices

Winning bets must predict the winner of the match.

    Goal Handicap

Winning bets must predict the winner of the match after the final score has been adjusted by the handicap.
Bets on Handicap draw always refer to the home team regardless being plus or minus.

    Over/Under

Winning bets must predict whether the total number of goals is over or under the quoted level.

  29. Golf

    Ante Post Bets

Ante Post bets will be void on players who have either not qualified or do not play in a tournament for any other reason.

    Bet Settlement

All winning bets will be settled at the prices shown on GreatOdds at the time the bet was accepted.

    Abandoned Events

In the event of a tournament being shortened or otherwise affected due to weather conditions, all bets, other than those placed after the last completed round, will stand provided at least 36 holes have been played and a trophy has been awarded. Those placed after the last completed round will be void. This does not apply when a tournament is played on more than one course, and in this instance all players must have played the same rotation, otherwise all bets will be void.

    Postponed/Rearranged Events

In the event of a tournament being postponed, rearranged or moved to a different course, all bets will stand.

    Tournament Prices

Winning bets must predict the winner of the tournament.
If a playoff is required to determine the tournament winner, the winner of the playoff is deemed the tournament winner.
In the event of a shared win, GreatOdds reserves the right to settle as it sees fit based on all available evidence.
Dead Heat rules apply for all placings in a tournament. For example, if the each-way terms are for four places and three players tie for third, they will be deemed to have dead-heated for third, four and fifth places, with 1/3 of the stake lost and 2/3 of the stake settled at full place odds for an each-way bet on those players.

    72-Hole/90-Hole Match Bets

Winning bets must select the player with the lowest score at the end of the tournament, provided that 36 holes have been played in a 72-hole tournament or 54 holes have been played in a 90-hole tournament.
If both players finish on the same score, 'Tie' is the winner, regardless of whether the two players involved subsequently contest a playoff.
Both players in a match bet must tee off for bets to stand.
In a tournament played on a combination of courses all bets will be made void if the players do not complete the same itinerary of courses.
If one player misses the cut, the other player will be deemed to be the winner. Where both miss the cut, the player with the lowest score after the cut has been made is deemed the winner.
If one player is disqualified or withdraws before the cut is made or after both players have made the cut, the other player is deemed the winner (even if the other player does not make the cut).
If a player is disqualified or withdraws in the rounds after the cut, when his/her opponent has already missed the cut, the disqualified player is deemed the winner.
If both players withdraw or are disqualified before the cut all bets are void. The same applies if this happens to them both after they have made the cut.

    18-Hole/36-Hole Match Bets

Winning bets must predict the player with the lowest score over 18/36 holes.
If both players finish on the same score, 'Tie' is the winner, regardless of whether the two players involved subsequently contest a playoff.
Both players in a match bet must tee-off for bets to stand.

    2-Ball/3-Ball/4-Ball Betting

Winning bets must select the player with the lowest score over the specified number of holes.
In the event of any player not teeing off all bets will be void. Once a player has teed off all bets stand regardless of whether they subsequently withdraw or are disqualified from the tournament.
If a price is offered for the 'Tie' in 2-ball betting, a tied score will result in 'Tie' being declared the winner. If a price is not offered for the 'Tie', all bets will be void.
Bets will normally be offered based on player pairings or groups in the tournament. In the event of a 2, 3 or 4-ball being rearranged, bets will be settled on the original pairings.
Dead Heat rules apply to all 3-ball and 4-ball betting.

    Player Hole Scores

Winning bets must predict the number of shots it takes for a player to complete a specified hole.
If a player fails to complete a hole for whatever reason, bets will stand provided the hole is completed on a subsequent day. If there is no opportunity to complete the hole, all bets will be void. If a player withdraws whilst playing the specified hole all bets will be void.

    Hole Winner

Winning bets must predict which of the relevant two players will win the hole.
If a player withdraws on a hole, the other player will be deemed the winner, regardless of their score on the hole but provided they complete the hole.

    Matchplay

Winning bets must predict the winner of a matchplay match.
In team events, final day singles will be settled on the official result.
In a matchplay tournament, the winner will be the player progressing to the next round or becoming the tournament winner.

    Matchplay Winning Margin

Winning bets must predict the winning margin in the relevant matchplay event. The official result counts for settlement purposes.

    Group Prices

Winning bets must select the player who achieves the highest tournament placing from a selected group.
In the event of any player in the group not teeing off deductions will be made to bets on the other players in the group in line with Rule 4. All players who do start must complete one round for bets to stand.
Players missing the cut will be eliminated unless all of the players in the group miss the cut. If this occurs the lowest score at that stage will determine the winner.
Dead Heat rules apply if two or more players are tied at the end of the tournament, unless the result is determined by a playoff in which case the playoff winner is considered the Group winner.
If only one player in a group starts, all bets will be void.

Yearly Order Of Merit/Official Money List Winner

Winning bets must predict the winner of the Order of Merit/Official Money List at the end of the season.
Settlement is determined following the last counting tournament and will not be affected by any subsequent enquiries or alterations.

To Be Selected To Play In A Team/Tournament (e.g. The Ryder Cup)

Winning bets must predict whether a player will be selected to play in a specific team or tournament. Players must be announced as part of the playing team at the opening ceremony for bets to count.

    To Finish Last

Winning bets will predict who will finish last in the tournament.
Any bets placed on players who withdraw before 72 holes are completed will be settled as losing bets. If there is a tie for last place, dead heat rules will apply.

  30. Handball

    Bet Settlement

All winning bets will be settled at the prices shown on GreatOdds at the time the bet was accepted. This does not include any post-game disputes by either team that alter the final outcome of a game at a later point.
All bets on Handball matches are based on the score at the completion of 60 Minutes' Play. Overtime and Shootouts are not included unless otherwise stated.

    Abandoned Matches

All bets will be void on matches that are abandoned before the completion of 60 Minutes' Play unless otherwise stated or the bet has already been settled.

    Postponed/Rearranged Matches

All bets will be void on matches that are postponed or rearranged unless the rearranged match starts play within two calendar days of the original starting time.
In the event of a change of venue, bets stand unless GreatOdds decide that the changed venue offers either team a significant advantage from the original venue.

    Match Prices

Winning bets must predict the winner of the match.

    Handicap Prices

Winning bets must predict the winner of the match after the final score has been adjusted by the handicap.

    Total Goals

Winning bets must predict the total number of goals (combined of both teams) scored in the match.

    Double Chance

Winning bets must predict the outcome of the match based on three selections - either the Home or Away team wins, the Home team wins or draws or the Away team wins or draws.

    Odd or Even

Winning bets must predict whether the total number of goals (combined of both teams) scored in the match is an odd or even number.

    Half Time Result

Winning bets must predict the team leading at Half Time. In the event of a match being abandoned before Half Time, all bets will be void.

    1st/Last Team to Score

Winning bets must predict the first/last team to score in the match.

    Race to ‘X’ points”

    2-way (Head to Head)

Winning bets must predict the first team to score the quoted points target within the quoted period (Set, Game, Quarter, Half or Match). In the event that neither team reaches the quoted points target, all bets will be void.

    3-way (Includes ‘Neither Team’ option)

Winning bets must predict the first team to score the quoted points target, within the quoted period (Set, Game, Quarter, Half or Match), or if neither team reach the points target then the “Neither” option (or equivalent) will be the winner.

    Player Match Bets

Winning bets must predict the player to score the most points between the relevant players. Both players must be in the official line-up and play during the match for bets to stand.

    Teams to be Relegated

Bets relate to teams which occupy the relegation places at the end of the season. All future changes, that may occur for whatever reason, are deemed irrelevant for this market.

    Results

All Results will be taken from the official statistics by the official websites for each league or tournament and will also be based on Live recordings of Games. If the company’s statistics (Acquired through television broadcasting) differ from official statistics, bets will be settled according to the Company’s statistics.

Will the “X” 7-Meter be Scored?

For the outcome of this bet to be “Yes”, the 7-meter needs to be scored on the First Attempt. If the 1st attempt either hits the goalkeeper or the goal posts and the player scores on the 2nd attempt after the ball returns, the outcome “No” will be deemed the winning option.

    Mercy Rule

If a Mercy Rule is called during the match, the score at that time will be used for settlement purposes.

  31. Horseracing and Greyhounds

    Bet Acceptance

Bets are accepted where GreatOdds offers prices and a bet is only valid if after clicking on 'Place Bet' the customer is returned a Bet Receipt with confirmation of the bet being placed.
Bets are accepted at Board Price for named and numbered selections in races where there are three or more runners.
Each-way bets at a Board Price are governed by the SP place betting terms and are determined by the actual number of starters and not by the number of declared runners when the price is taken.
If you wish to bet at a Board Price it must be clearly stipulated when placing your bet and ensure it is confirmed during the transaction otherwise GreatOdds reserves the right to settle the bet at SP.

    Bet Settlement

Bets on horseracing are governed by Tattersalls' Rules of Betting. Tattersalls' Rules or an official announcement of the Tattersalls' Committee will govern the settlement of bets should a situation arise not covered by these rules.
All winning bets will be settled at the Special Day of Race Price, Board Price, Show Price, Pari-Mutuel (PMU) or Starting Price (SP) shown on GreatOdds at the time the bet was accepted.
In the event of an incorrect price being shown on the website, bets will be settled at the correct price at the time the bet was struck or at SP, whichever is the greater.
GreatOdds reserves the right to adjust Board Prices.
GreatOdds pays out on the Official Race Result (not First Past the Post Result). But where a result is amended after the Official Result (ie after the weigh-in), for example as a result of a subsequent disqualification on appeal, the amendment will be ignored for settlement purposes.
Unless a Board Price or Special Day of Race Price is requested, all bets on horse and greyhound racing in Great Britain and Ireland are settled at SP. In a race where no SP is returned, all bets will be void.
Unless otherwise stated (GreatOdds reserves the right to not offer each-way terms on any race), the place part of each-way bets will be settled as per the following place terms:

    2-4 runners - Win only
5-7 runners - 1/4 odds first and second placed runners
8 + runners - 1/5 odds first, second and third placed runners

In Handicap races the following place terms apply:
12 + runners - 1/4 odds first, second and third placed runners
16 + runners - 1/4 odds first, second, third and fourth placed runners

If an each-way bet is placed for a race or event which is or becomes Win-only (e.g. reduced to four runners), the total stake will be invested to win.

In the event of a Rule 4, the amount deducted in the £ from winnings will be based on the price of the withdrawn horse, at the time when the bet was struck, according to the following table.

    1/9 or shorter 90p
    2/11 to 2/17 85p
    1/4 to 1/5 80p
    3/10 to 2/7 75p
    2/5 to 1/3 70p
    8/15 to 4/9 65p
    8/13 to 4/7 60p
    4/5 to 4/6 55p
    20/21 to 5/6 50p
    Evens to 6/5 45p
    5/4 to 6/4 40p
    8/5 to 7/4 35p
    9/5 to 9/4 30p
    12/5 to 3/1 25p
    16/5 to 4/1 20p
    9/2 to 11/2 15p
    6/1 to 9/1 10p
    10/1 to 14/1 5p
    Over 14/1 No deduction

In the event that a runner is withdrawn which will result in a deduction under Rule 4, no Board Price can be laid after the time of the withdrawal, unless the market has been reformed. This does not apply to Special Day of Race Price. Should a Greyhound be withdrawn, all Show Prices laid prior to the withdrawal will be settled at SP. No Board Price can be laid until a new show is transmitted.

    Withdrawals/Non-Runners

Bets will be void on horse races (excluding Ante Post races) where a runner is withdrawn or adjudged not to have started and declared a Non-Runner by the starter.
Bets placed at Special Day of Race Prices or Early Prices, prior to the withdrawal, will be subject to a Rule 4 and will be determined by the GreatOdds price of the withdrawn horse at the time the bet was accepted.
Show Price bets placed prior to withdrawal will also be subject to a Rule 4 deduction - dependent on the Non-Runner's price at the time it was withdrawn, as provided by SIS. In reformed markets, the total deduction on the two or more horses - one in the original market and one in the reformed market - will be calculated on the prices applicable in the original market.
Bets on horses in subsequent markets that then have one or more withdrawn horses will have a deduction calculated on the prices applicable to that market at the time of the withdrawal.
In the event that there is insufficient time to form a new market on the race, SP bets may also be subject to a Rule 4.

    Re-run Races

In the event of a race being re-run due to a false start or any other reason, bets will be void on horses taking no part in the re-run.
Returns on the remaining runners will be subject to a Rule 4 deduction and place terms will be governed by the number of runners taking part in the re-run.

    Abandoned Races/Postponed Races

In the event of a walkover or void race, bets will be void.
If a race meeting is postponed to another day, bets will be void. This applies to all Day-of-Race and Ante-Post Races.

    Ante Post Betting

Bets placed under Ante Post Rules (any bets struck before the overnight declaration stage) will stand whether the horse runs or not, unless the horse is balloted out or the race is postponed, in which case bets will be void.

    Time of Acceptance

All bets selected with pre-race prices taken from GreatOdds will be accepted up until the official 'Off'. If a race meeting is postponed to another day, bets will be void. This applies to all Day-of-Race and Ante-Post Races.

Special Day Of Race Price Races

Special Day of Race Prices may be offered for certain horse or greyhound events as advertised and will be available up to the time stated (usually 15 minutes before the advertised off time of the race). If a Special Day of Race Price is laid inadvertently after this time it will stand if there has not been a show transmitted from the course. All Special Day of Race Prices are subject to fluctuation and therefore prices offered may differ from those originally displayed on the GreatOdds website or published in the press.
Should a Horse be withdrawn not under orders in a Special Day of Race race, stakes on that selection will be returned with bets on other runners in the race subject to a Rule 4 based on the price of the withdrawn horse at the time the bet was placed.

    Favourite Betting

Bets nominating the favourite are acceptable where available on certain horse or greyhound races at SP only.
The favourite is the selection returned at the shortest odds. When the favourite is nominated and two or more runners start at the shortest odds, then stakes are equally divided over the joint favourites.

For example, where two are returned at the shortest odds, then these two are joint first and second favourites and the next shortest price runner is the third favourite.

Bets will be void on single favourite bets where the return, regardless of the result, is less than the original stake (including any deductions). This would occur, for example, if there were 3/1 co- favourites of four. On horse racing, bets are accepted for first favourite and Win only. We do not accept bets on second or third favourite.

    Horse Racing Outside The UK

In countries where there is no SP market in operation, bets may be accepted at Pari-Mutuel returns for the following, where stated.

    Win and Each Way

Horses in the same ownership are generally coupled in the 'Win pool' only. However in some countries (e.g. the USA) horses are coupled in all pools and coupling may occur for reasons other than ownership. The place part of Each Way bets will be settled in accordance with the returned place dividends.

    Named Selections

Where a bet is offered for more than one named selection to win at a special combined price, the price is subject to fluctuation as are all Special Day of Race Prices.
Rule 4 may be applied to all Special bets if there are any Non-Runners in the races concerned.
If any of the named selections are Non-Runners or the race is declared void, the bet reduces to the next level multiple at SP. For example, if a Special Treble contains a Non-Runner the bet reverts to an SP double etc.

    Named Jockey's Mounts

Winning bets must predict whether the named jockey will ride multiple winners.
In the event of the named jockey not riding a published mount for any reason, that leg of the multiple will be disregarded and the bet will be settled as the next lowest multiple on the remaining legs at SP. For example a treble will become a double.
If there is a Non-Runner that is not the Jockey's Mount in any leg then Rule 4 will be applied with the Special Price subject to a reduction and bets will be settled at the new price. If, in the above instances where the jockey's mount is offered 'Place Only' in any leg, that leg will be settled for a Place at the appropriate Starting Price place terms.

    How Many...? Bets

Winning bets must predict how many of the specified eventualities will occur such as 'How many favourites will win at Ascot?'.
In the event of any races not being run for whatever reason all bets will be void.

    Jockey Challenge

Winning bets must predict which of the nominated jockeys will ride the most winners at a specified meeting or meetings.
Dead Heat rules will apply where challenges are offered between three or more jockeys. In a two- jockey challenge a price will be offered for the 'Tie'.
If for any reason a nominated jockey does not ride his intended mount in a race, but the horse still runs, the horse still counts for settlement as if it had been ridden by the 'intended' jockey.
The intended mount will be taken to be the horses published in the Racing Post on the day of the race, to be ridden by the jockey concerned. If the jockey rides any horse which, according to the day's Racing Post he was not scheduled to ride, that ride does not count towards the challenge.

    Jockey Performance

Winning bets must predict the level of jockey performance based on a defined points' scoring system. 25 points are awarded for a winner, 10 points for a runner up and 5 points for a third. Dead Heat rules apply, so if a jockey's mount dead heats for first 17.5 points are awarded (i.e. 25 points+10 points divided by 2).
Markets may take two forms based on the scoring system.

Points' Bands - for example, A P McCoy may be offered at 5/1 to score between 35-40 points at Cheltenham.
Over/Under - for example, Frankie Dettori may be offered at 6/4 to score under 40 points at Ascot.

If for any reason the jockey on whom the bet was made does not ride his intended mount in a race, but the horse still runs, then for settlement purposes the horse still counts as if it had been ridden by the 'intended' jockey.
The intended mounts will be taken to be the horses published in the Racing Post on the day of the race, to be ridden by the jockey concerned. If the jockey rides any horse which, according to the day's Racing Post he was not scheduled to ride, that ride does not count for the purposes of performance bets on that jockey.
If the jockey has a Non-Runner then, if no betting show has been passed by SIS, the SP forecast for that horse given by the Racing Post will be determine how points are awarded:

Equal to or greater than 5/1 = 5 points
Less than 5/1 but greater than Evens = 10 points Evens or less = 15 points

If a betting show has been passed by SIS, then points will be awarded as above according to the horse's price at the time of withdrawal. If a race is declared void the jockey's mount will be considered a Non-Runner. If a jockey's mount is made a walkover by way of others withdrawing, 20 points will be awarded to the total. If no price is available for a points' total then Dead Heat rules apply.

    Top Jockey at a Festival

Winning bets must predict who will be the jockey riding the most winners over the course of a meeting or festival.
For the purposes of this bet, bets are accepted 'All In, Run or Not'. For settlement purposes the result will be determined by who lifts the trophy at the end of the festival and will not be affected by any subsequent enquiries, disqualifications or alterations.

    Meeting Favourites' Challenge

Winning bets must predict which of the two nominated meetings will have the most winning favourites.
Dead Heat rules apply for Favourites' Challenges where three or more meetings are nominated. Where only two meetings are nominated a price will offered for the 'Tie'.
If there are joint or co-favourites in a race, the horse with the lowest race card number is considered for the purposes of the bet to be the favourite.
In the event of no SP being returned, the favourite will be deemed to be the shortest price horse in the Racing Post betting forecast to come under starter's orders. If the returned favourite (as published in the following day's Racing Post) does not come under starter's orders then, for the purposes of the bet it is considered to be a runner.

    Favourites Performance

Winning bets must predict the level of favourites' performance based on a defined points' scoring system.
25 points are awarded for a winner, 10 points for a runner-up and 5 points for a third. Dead Heat rules apply so if a trainer's horse dead-heats for first 17.5 points are awarded (i.e. 25 points + 10 points divided by 2).
Markets may take two forms based on the scoring system.

Points' Bands - for example, Favourites may be offered at 5/1 to score between 65-70 points at Cheltenham.
Over/Under - for example, Favourites may be offered at 10/11 score under 65 points at Cheltenham.

If there are joint or co-favourites in a race, the horse with the lowest race card number is considered for the purposes of the bet to be the favourite. If the returned favourite (as published in the following day's Racing Post) has not come 'under starter's orders' then, for the purposes of the bet, points will be awarded as follows based on its price at the time of withdrawal:

Equal to or greater than 5/1 = 5 points
Less than 5/1 but greater than Evens = 10 points Evens or less = 15 points

In the event of no SP being returned the favourite will be deemed to be the shortest price horse in the Racing Post betting forecast to come 'under starter's orders'. If a race is declared void the favourite will be considered a Non-Runner. If a horse race is made a walkover by way of horses withdrawing, 20 points will be awarded to the total.
If no price is available for a points' total then Dead Heat rules apply.

    Horse Race Match Betting

Winning bets must predict which named horse will achieve the best finishing position. Bets are settled on the Official Result (not "First Past The Post"). If both horses finish in the same position bets are void. If either horse is a Non Runner bets are void. In National Hunt ("Jumps") Races a horse must complete the Race to win the Matchbet (unless otherwise stated).

    Aggregate Distances

Winning bets must predict the aggregate winning distances at a specified meeting or meetings.
The maximum winning distance will be 12 lengths for Flat races and 30 lengths for National Hunt races. In the case of a horse finishing alone or winning by a 'Distance' the distance will be settled as 12 lengths for a Flat race and 30 lengths in a National Hunt race.
For distances below a length the following distances will be applied:

    Short head = 0.1 of a length
    Head = 0.2 of a length
    Neck = 0.3 of a length
    Half a length = 0.5 of a length
Three quarters of a length = 0.75 of a length

If no official winning distance is declared GreatOdds will use all available evidence to determine the distance.
No account shall be taken of any subsequent disqualification, enquiry or amendment, unless the official distance is amended by the judge on the day of the race. If a race is declared void distances will 2 lengths for Flat races and 10 lengths for National Hunt races.
If a race is made a walkover by horses withdrawing after the market is made, distances will be 5 lengths for a Flat race or 12 lengths for National Hunt races.
If no distance total is quoted then Dead Heat rules apply.

    Winning Distances for Selected Horses

Winning bets must predict the winning distance of a selected horse. Markets may take two forms based on the scoring system.
Points Bands - for example, Black Jack Ketchum may be offered at 6/1 to win by between 0-2 lengths. Over/Under - for example, Black Jack Ketchum may be offered at 9/4 to win by under 4 lengths.
If the market is opened before the day of the event and the selection does not run then all bets will be losers, unless otherwise stated.
In the event of non runner(s) resulting in a Rule 4 deduction of 15p in £ or more on early prices, unless specified otherwise, all bets will be void.

    Owners Or Trainers Runners

Winning bets must predict the level of performance exhibited by a specified trainer or owner. Markets may take two forms based on the scoring system. Points' Bands - for example, Aidan O'Brien may be offered at 3/1 to score between 35-40 points. Over/Under - for example, Paul Nicholls may be offered at 4/1 to score under 40 points.
In the event of an Owner/Trainer having more than one runner in the race, the selected mount for the purposes of this bet is the horse starting at the lowest price. If two or more mounts start at the same price, stakes will be equally divided between the two horses.
That day's Racing Post will determine the Owner/Trainer of a horse. When long-term markets are offered for a selected Owner or Trainer to own or train the winner of a nominated horse race, it is the 'actual' owner and trainer according to the Racing Post on the day of the event that counts.
Ante Post Rules apply unless otherwise stated.

    Partially Abandoned Meetings

When a race meeting is abandoned before it is completed the following rules apply to bets placed on markets involving Points' Bands.
If the performance total at the time of abandonment falls in the bottom band (e.g. 'Under 12 lengths' or 'Under 50' for performance), all bets in that market are made void if the result could still have totalled any of the bands originally offered.
If an abandoned meeting could not have made up in one or more bands, bets placed in those bands are settled as losers, and bets placed in the possible bands are settled as joint winners and are subject to Dead Heat rules dependent on the number of possible winning bands.
If there is only one possible winning band then that is settled as an outright winner. If the performance total at the time of abandonment falls in a middle band (e.g. '12-15 lengths' or '50-65 for performance') all bets in lower bands are settled as losers. Bets placed in that middle and higher bands are settled as joint winners and are subject to Dead Heat rules.
Bets that cannot mathematically win at this point will be settled as losers. If the performance total at time of abandonment falls in the top band (e.g. 'Over 15 lengths' or 'Over 65 for performance') all bets are settled with this band as the winner and the others as losers, as the result has effectively been determined.

    Reserve Runners - Greyhounds

All bets that are placed at SP are considered to be on the trap number and not the named greyhound. Bets placed at SP on the trap number are valid regardless of whether a reserve dog runs from this trap. Bets placed at a price within 10 minutes of the Race starting (ie bets placed on the “SIS Betting Show”) are subject to the same Rule. All other bets at a price (struck more than 10 minutes before the Race Off Time) are considered to be on the named greyhound and in the event of a reserve running will be made void.

    1. If a player is sacked by the defense and losses the ball whilst attempting, in the official's eyes, to throw a pass, this is an 'Incomplete Pass'.
    2. A shuttle pass (complete or incomplete) will be ruled as a pass.
    3. If the offensive player is called for an intentional grounding, this is an 'Incomplete Pass'.

The Next Play bet may be offered on occasion with five possible outcomes: 'Run', 'Pass Complete', 'Pass Incomplete', 'Sack' and 'No Play'. 'No Play' comprises of any penalty accepted where the result of the play does not count. Sack is classified as a defensive player tackle of the quarterback attempting to pass the ball behind the line of scrimmage.

    First Down Next Play

Winning bets must predict whether the team with possession will achieve a first down in the play. An offensive touchdown will be settled as a first down. A first down will not be settled when a player gains the necessary yardage for a first down, then fumbles, with the opposing team recovering the fumble. It will be settled as 'No First Down'.
If the offensive team fumbles the ball and the defensive team recovers the fumble, but in turn fumbles the ball back to the original offensive team all in the same play, due to change of possession on the play no first down has been achieved.
In no way can a defensive team be awarded a first down. Any penalty resulting in the offensive team being given a first down will be awarded as such.
Any offensive play negated by a penalty will be considered a 'No Play' and bets made void (no action).

    Plays to 1st Down

Winning bets must predict the number of plays before the next first down is achieved.
If there is a penalty on a play that is accepted, the play will considered a 'No Play' and the play will not count towards the total. This includes a penalty on a play that would give the offensive team an automatic first down - this play does not count and the bet will settled as of the last completed down played.
For example, if it is '1st and 10' and the defense causes a penalty that gives the offensive team a first down then 'No 1st Down' will be settled as the winner.

    Drive Result

Winning bets must predict the outcome of a drive by the offensive team with possession.
For the purposes this bet 'Others' comprises turnovers, turnovers on downs, end of half or game, muffed punt and safety.

    Make Field Goal

Winning bets must predict whether the player attempting a field goal is successful or not. This bet is only valid on a field goal attempt where the ball is actually kicked. Fake field goals, bad snaps, penalties or other plays that do not result in an attempted field goal will be deemed void (no action).

    Punt Result

Winning bets must predict the outcome of a punt by the team with possession.
If the ball is not punted because of a bad snap, a deliberate fake punt or a penalty that nullifies the punt, the bet will be void (no action).
A 'Fair Catch' must be signalled as such and the catch made. A 'Run' is any attempt to return the ball in the hands of the team receiving the punt and also includes an on-side kick. 'OOB' (out of bounds) is classified as any area where the ball crosses outside of the sidelines of the field of play. 'Downed' is classified if the ball ceases to move on its own or is downed by the kicking team touching the ball before the receiving team. 'Blocked' is classified if the receiving team succeeds in blocking the punt and the ball is touched behind the line of scrimmage.
If the kicked ball, despite being touched by the receiving team, nonetheless crosses the line of scrimmage on its own impetus, it is considered to have been partially blocked and the same rules apply as if it had not been blocked.

    Kickoff Result

Winning bets must predict the outcome of the kickoff. If a ball is not kicked off because of a penalty that nullifies the play, the bet will be void (no action). A 'Touchback' will only occur if it is awarded as such by the officials. 'OOB' is classified as any area where the ball crosses outside of the sidelines of the field of play.

    Superbowl/Conference/Division Winner

Winning bets must predict the winner of the Superbowl, Conference or Division.

    Intra-Match Multiples (Parlays)

Customers can place a multiple (parlay) on the Handicap (point spread or side) and Total Points in the same game of all American Football games (unless circled). Customers can also place a multiple on (parlay) the Match Prices (Moneyline) and the Total Points in the same game of all American Football games (unless circled).
Customers cannot, however, place a multiple on (parlay) the Handicap (point spread or side) and the Match Prices (Moneyline) in the same game.
Customers cannot place multiples (parlay or tease) on the first half of a game with the outcome of the full game.

    Buying and Selling Lines

Buying or selling points allows you the ability to change the Handicap (point spread or side) or Total Points value for a game.
Customers can move the Handicap (point spread or side) so that they receive more points if they are betting on the underdog or giveaway less points if they are betting on the favourite.
For each half-point that they change the Handicap (point spread or side) value, they will need to deduct an amount off the price offered. On the other hand, the price will be greater for giving up extra half points.

    Teasers

A Teaser is a selection of two or more teams in one bet in which the Handicap (point spread or side) or Total Points is adjusted in favour of the bettor.
Customers can make selections from both American Football and Basketball. The number of teams selected and the size of the adjusted points values determines the payout odds. A Tie (no action) and a Win on a two-team teaser shall be a void (no action). A Tie (no action) and a Loss on a two-team teaser shall be a losing bet. Ties on a three-or-more team teaser shall revert to the next lowest betting bracket. For example, any Tie in a three-team teaser will mean that the bet becomes a two-team teaser.
The Teaser payout table is as follows:

    Basketball 4 Points 4.5 Points 5 Points
    2 Teams - 110 -120 -130
    3 Teams + 180 +160 +120
    4 Teams +300 +250 +200
